Our History

The Carolina Mountain Mavericks were started the summer of 2006.

The Mavericks were started by Josh English and Jim Dillon in an attempt to provide any youth interested, the ability to play in a more competitive environment than league play.

The definition of a Maverick: An unbranded animal. We are different than any other travel team out there and chose the Maverick as a symbol of our uniqueness. Currently we have 13 players on the Mavericks 8 and under team for the 2006 season and are constantly looking for more kids that would be interested. We also hope to add other age groups as well.
